BUILDING CENTRAL TEXAS,
ONE RELATIONSHIP AT A TIME.
At CM Constructors, our goal is to build quality construction projects through long-term relationships with clients, coworkers, and trade partners. We build with integrity and aim to remain humble during all aspects of the construction process. Every new client or project is an opportunity to build on our resume of successful general contracting in Central Texas. Success for our team is defined by meeting all of the client’s goals along the way.
We believe that if you truly value your employees, clients, and trade partners and treat the entire team with respect and honesty, they will want to build together again. At the end of the project, we always ask our clients and project teams “Would you be willing to build it again?”
CM Constructors' commercial work stems from our strong and collaborative relationships with top tier companies, including ground-up construction and Class A finish outs. Our approach is a true partnering aspect, whether it’s a 200,000 square foot office finish out or a 5,000 square foot new office shell. With our team's rich history in Central Texas, there are few developments that we have not worked within.
CM Constructors is passionate about building in the healthcare field, including hospitals, medical office buildings, and surgery centers. Our in-depth knowledge of the healthcare industry allows us to create accurate budgets and schedules taking the highly regulated DSHS environment into account. We’re committed to successful project experiences by ensuring the safety and wellbeing of patients and staff.
CM Constructors has vast experience working on active higher education campuses. Our team is well-versed in the protocol to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for the students and faculty. We have an extensive network of trusted trade partners, including those with MWBE and HUB certifications, that allow us to meet strict deadlines while maximizing budget dollars and adhering to design intent.
CM Constructors was founded by Troy Chapman and Mark McDonald to build a company that truly puts clients and the team first.
Troy highly values his reputation of being humble and staying hungry. He wholeheartedly believes that a man’s character is important and calls to who he is at his core. He often says to us, “It’s never about this job, it’s about the next one!” Since 1996, when Troy first began as a commercial contractor in Austin, he has held close the belief that doing your best will keep clients coming back and that attitude and effort can overcome almost any hurdle. Many of those clients through the years actually end up becoming his friends, because he puts so much of himself into every relationship.
Patience, humility, attention to detail and hard work have been the drivers behind Mark’s career in construction. He often tells the team “Issues come up on every construction project, and it is how we respond to those issues that differentiate us from our competitors.”
Mark grew up in Austin and has been in business in Central Texas for nearly two decades. The relationships forged and building/ campus knowledge gathered during that time are invaluable for future project success stories.
"CM Constructors managed the build-out of our corporate headquarters in Austin after relocating the team from Los Angeles. They went above and beyond in addressing all of our needs and change requests and providing guidance through the critical pivots during the construction phase. Brad and Juan have been extremely responsive to all of our requests post-occupancy.
Best team contracting experts we’ve had the pleasure of working with."
- Jack MacDowell, Chief Investment Officer
"The Medxcel team has worked with CM Constructors on everything from new ground-up medical office buildings, to occupied hospital renovations to critical equipment upgrades. When working with them, we have grown to expect that the work will get completed on time, within budget, and has been consistently the highest quality. We enjoy working with the CM team and completely trust them in and around our sensitive campuses"
