LABOR & DELIVERY UNIT

This addition to the Dell Children’s Medical Center is the first and only comprehensive fetal care center in Central Texas. The unit offers comprehensive fetal care for babies with complex fetal and congenital conditions. Intended for relaxing expectant mothers during their stressful stays, the patient rooms boast high-end finishes that feel more like a spa than a delivery room. The completed space includes eleven patient rooms, two operating rooms, two nurse stations, a nursery, as well as two staff lounges.
